Guidelines and Information
The Help A Little One (H.A.L.O.) Foundation will consider requests from nursing homes, families, guardians, professionals and community and social service agencies. Please describe the requested gift in detail, and include item numbers, store names, size/dimensions, cost and the name and address of any matching funders. H.A.L.O. does not fund building maintenance, hospital equipment, medical treatment or other expenses covered by insurance or public health, welfare and social service agencies.

Examples of approved requests:

• Adaptive tricycles, wheelchair lifts, limited computer technology
• Transportation for special excursions
• Enrichment programs
• Participation at community events
• Nursing home outings
• Technology for individual growth and/or communication and/or management of an individual’s disability
